GoSharp Rider Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GoSharp! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GoSharp mobile application (“App”) and related services (“Services”) offered by GoSharp Global Services LTD. (“GoSharp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid government-issued ID to use the App and Services as a rider.

2. Account Creation

To use the App and Services, you will need to create an account by providing your name, phone number and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify GoSharp immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

3. Booking Rides

You can use the App to book rides with GoSharp drivers. To book a ride, you will need to specify your pick-up and drop-off locations, choose your preferred car type (if available), and confirm the estimated fare.

4. Fares and Payment

Fares are calculated based on factors such as distance, time, and demand. You will see the estimated fare before booking a ride. You can pre-load your wallet on the app securing using the payment method provided by our financial partner (PayStack) or you can pay for your trip with cash. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available in your wallet or have sufficent cash to cover the fare and any applicable fees.

5. Cancellations

You have the right to cancel a ride before a driver is assigned. Cancellation fees may apply based on the time of cancellation. You can view the cancellation policy within the App.

6. Rider Conduct

You agree to use the App and Services in a respectful and responsible manner. This includes:

 

• Treating drivers with courtesy and respect.

• Not being intoxicated or under the influence of drugs while using the Services.

• Not smoking or vaping in the vehicle.

• Not carrying any illegal items or hazardous materials.

• Not exceeding the vehicle’s passenger capacity.

• Wearing a seatbelt at all times.

GoSharp reserves the right to deactivate your account or take other appropriate action if you violate these terms or engage in any disruptive or unsafe behavior.

7. Rider Responsibility for Property

You are responsible for any damage you cause to the vehicle during your ride. You will be charged for any cleaning or repair costs associated with such damage.

8. Lost and Found Items

We will make reasonable efforts to return any items left behind in the GoSharp driver’s car by working closely with the driver to return such items. However, we are not liable for any lost or damaged items.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Services are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. GoSharp disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

GoSharp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the App and Services, even if GoSharp has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoSharp, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App and Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any laws or regulations.

12. Intellectual Property

The App and Services contain intellectual property owned by GoSharp or its licensors. You are not granted any right, title, or interest in such intellectual property.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country of operation, if applicable.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a reputable arbitration service. The arbitration shall be held in the country of operation, if applicable.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GoSharp regarding your use of the App and Services.

16. Updates to Terms

GoSharp reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised Terms on the App or by sending you an email. Your continued use of the App and Services after the posting of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised
