Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use GoSharp. Drivers and couriers must additionally meet all local licensing, insurance, vehicle, and background-check requirements.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Rider Responsibilities

Provide accurate pickup and drop-off information, treat drivers and vehicles respectfully, follow local traffic and safety laws, and pay all fares and fees due for services requested through your account.

4. Driver Responsibilities

Maintain valid licences, insurance, roadworthy vehicles, and comply with local transport regulations. Provide safe, respectful, and timely service, and follow the GoSharp community and safety guidelines at all times.

5. Delivery Rules

You may not use GoSharp Delivery to transport illegal, hazardous, perishable-without-care, stolen, or restricted items. Senders are responsible for accurate declarations of items dispatched.

6. Payments

Fares, delivery fees, and service charges are displayed at booking. By confirming a trip you authorise GoSharp and its payment partners to charge your selected payment method for the amount due.

7. GoSharp Wallet

The GoSharp Wallet stores prepaid balance for use on the platform. Wallet balances are non-transferable, may be subject to expiry as permitted by local law, and are not a bank deposit.

8. Refunds

Refunds may be issued where a trip or delivery cannot be completed due to platform failure or where required by law. Refund decisions are made in good faith and communicated through the app.

9. Cancellation Policy

Riders and senders may cancel a request; a cancellation fee may apply once a driver has been dispatched, in line with local rules displayed at cancellation.

10. Driver Verification

All drivers undergo document verification and, where lawful, background checks. GoSharp reserves the right to suspend or remove drivers who no longer meet platform standards.

11. Community Guidelines

Discrimination, harassment, violence, fraud, weapons, drugs, and any unsafe conduct are prohibited. Serious or repeated violations result in permanent removal from the platform.

12. Ratings

Riders and drivers rate each other after every trip. Ratings help us maintain quality; consistently low ratings may lead to a review of your account.

13. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. We will give notice where reasonably practicable.

14. Intellectual Property

The GoSharp name, logo, apps, software, and content are owned by GoSharp and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit them without our written permission.

15. Liability

GoSharp connects riders, senders, drivers, and couriers. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoSharp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify GoSharp against claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana, without prejudice to mandatory local consumer protections in your country of residence.

18. Dispute Resolution

We will attempt to resolve any dispute informally first. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Gaborone, Botswana, unless local law requires otherwise.
